The Fourth Meeting of the Second Session of the China Outdoor Association (COA for short) was held in Beijing on January 15, 2019. During the meeting, there was a welcome ceremony for the new members. The 2019 group/industry standard application and training plans were introduced, and how Chinese outdoor brands participate in outdoor shows in Europe was discussed.

The new members of the COA include brands such as Alocs, Deuter, Fenix, KingCamp, Koraman, Sunrei and Zhang Yi, representatives of the channels such as Fx Outdoor, Vafox Outdoor, Gold Tent, Sanfo and Outfit, representatives of the supply chain such as Gore, Nanjing Pacific and PrimaLoft, representatives of the outdoor sports such as Kaitu Expedition, Neil Outdoor, representative of outdoor media such as Outdoor Exploration Magazine, representatives of exhibition organization such as Beijing German Messe and Nanjing Ningfei.

The participation of new members not only enlarged the scale of COA, but also enhanced the influence of COA in the outdoor industry, and will provide more cooperation opportunities for all of the COA members.

Huang Geng, President of COA and Chairman of Nanjing B.C. Sports Products Co. Ltd., showed welcome to new members and pointed out that COA, as an association born to linking various components of the industry, would commit to uniting the strength of China's outdoor industry and jointly promoting the sound development of the industry.

Zhong Chengzhan, Director of the COA Tournament Committee and General Manager of KAILAS, introduced the work plan on outdoor events in 2019.

Lv Qiding, General Manager of Fire-Maple, was elected to be Director of the COA Standard Committee for the next session.

The meeting reviewed COA’s work in 2018, and discussed work plans for 2019, such as the training exchange program, exhibiting in outdoor shows in Europe, and the schedule of the next meeting.

Li Jun, General Manager of ActionFox introduced the work in 2019 of the Training Committee.

As a representative of professional exhibition organizations, Nanjing Ningfei joined COA to be one of the members. As a witness of the development of COA from the very beginning, Nanjing Ningfei participated in all the determination process of major events of COA, and organized COA Outdoor China Summit for a couple of years to provide new ideas for the development of China's outdoor industry.

In 2019, the Asia-Pacific Outdoor Show organized by Nanjing Ningfei will take place in Nanjing China from June 20 to 23 to provide more business services, explore more cooperation opportunities for COA members and outdoor brands, and contribute to the sound development of China's outdoor industry.
